Sunday was a Park Chalet kind of day
It was hard to believe we were so close to the ocean yet still warm. You see, San Francisco is unique in California: almost no one wants to live near the ocean in the city. It's too cold and foggy usually. Sunday was an exception. After brunch at Nopalito, Rand, James, and I headed to the Park Chalet on a whim. It was Rand's best idea that day. There was sun, warmth, a wind break, and bar service on the lawn. In short, I found my idea of heaven on earth. With one exception: it was Mother's Day and that equalled lots of kids. Thankfully, there were margaritas.
