The compost bucket revisited

I was wrong. It is recyclable. It has a #2 symbol on the bottom: high density polyethylene. That's a pretty name. I especially love that it takes 1.75 kg of petroleum to make 1kg of HDPE. That seems sustainable.

Anyway, if you're looking for it, Mayor Newsom, I've gently placed it into the BLUE bin. That's right, isn't it? I'd hate to do anything wrong.
