Weekend in Tahoe

I've packed the Popems, some socks, long underwear, my latest Netflix movie, and some Hot Tamales.

In other words, I'm ready to go to Tahoe.

Darling, for a weekend in Tahoe you're travling quite heavy, you must take a page from my book and take only the essentials ... 6 wardrobe trunks, 18 suitcases, 3 shoe trunks, 5 hat boxes, 1 jewel case and a maid to carry it, 5 fur coats, 1 vanity case, 1 trunk fitted for a bar, 2 cases of vodka, 1 case of champagne (Pomery 1926) 3 picnic hampers, a Packard touring car, a station wagon for the help and two Pekinese.

That should get you through to Monday but only barely, if you don't mind roughing it.

that's one of the most beautiful pictures i've ever seen. and i love tahoe. that's my desktop background now. to have displaced my dog is quite a feat.
